AI CHI Water Tai Chi
|
|
Flowing Aquatic Energy Balance, Harmony and Healing
Let the soothing waters strengthen your body and caress your spirit! The flowing yet
powerful sequence of moves, based on Tai Chi, combines deep breathing with slow, broad
movements of arms, legs, and torso.
Ai Chi is a combination of Tai Chi concepts and movements with Shiatsu and Watsu techniques.
It is performed standing in shoulder depth water using a combination of deep breathing
and slow broad movement of the arms, legs and torso. The concept of Ai Chi is to relax
within the movement. By using equal force throughout the movement, and moving
continually one creates a harmony and awareness of mind and body. With the
support of the water's buoyancy, participants are able to coordinate the
Tai Chi movements to their fullest extent. Participants can then focus on their
breathing and body movements without having to worry about falling over!

What people have to say about Ai Chi
"Ai Chi brings a sense of calm in an otherwise hurried world, the progression stretches all of my aching
joints and makes simple movements so much easier." -Mimi
"Ai Chi feels good, physically, mentally, and emotionally. It's a favor I do for myself and a great
complement to my spiritual practice." -Melinda
ŇAi Chi has done more for me than I ever expected. Before I came to Ai Chi I was relying
on a cane a great deal of the time for stability. Because of what Ai Chi has done for my
balance I actually can lift one foot off the ground, on dry land, without falling on
my face! The information that has been shared in class, regarding the importance of
concentrating on our core has made all the difference for me. My hour with Ai Chi is so very
important in my lifeÓ
